Azulejos Encouragement Pocket Card
For the card: Trace and cut the card pattern (shown below) from white cardstock. Score on the dashed lines. Crease the horizontal and vertical lines in valley folds and the diagonal lines in mountain folds. Tuck the lower sections inside the card and close the front.
For the card front: Cut 3 7/8"x5 7/8" Azulejos white/blue circles paper and glue it centered on the front. Cut out the 3¾"x3¾" Azulejos aqua butterfly tile and mat it on blue cardstock with 1/16" borders.
Wrap two 5" lengths of 1/8" wide ivory grosgrain ribbon across the tile, ½" from the bottom, gluing the ends to the back. Knot a 4" grosgrain ribbon around the two strands near the left tile edge. Foam tape the tile centered on the card front. Place the aqua enamel dots as shown, then color the butterfly with the sparkle pen.
For the inside: Cut 4"x5" Azulejos blue circles paper and glue it to the right inside panel. Cut out the Azulejos brown/blue tile shown and stamp “filled with love” and three hearts on it as shown. Mat the tile on blue cardstock with 1/16" borders, then glue it centered on the circles paper. Color the hearts with the sparkle pen.
On the right triangular panel, place tape along the back side edge and on the back next to the crease. Bring it in and over the left lower triangular panel, aligning the cut edge with the angled crease. Secure the panel in place, creating a pocket with the opening along the long diagonal edge.
Cut a 3¾"x3¾" Azulejos blue circles paper, then cut it in half diagonally from the upper left to the lower right. Glue a paper centered on each lower triangle panel.
