For the card front: Cut the card to 5"x5", then fold the front outer edge inward to the center fold. Unfold it, close the card and place it with the center fold at the top. Cut 4¾"x2¼" Hydrangea Heaven hydrangeas cardstock and glue it centered on the upper front panel.
Cut 5¾"x4½" Hydrangea Heaven pink striped cardstock with the flowers along the left and mat it on pink cardstock with 1/8" borders. Die cut the large hydrangea base from purple cardstock. Die cut the blossoms twice each from pink, lavender, and purple cardstocks. Ink the edges of the blossoms with Damson Wine, then use the bone folder to gently curl the petals upward. Place jewel Dazzles™ in the blossom centers. Glue the blossoms to the base, alternating the colors and crowding them together.
Die cut the curving stem and two large leaves from green cardstock and ink the edges with Pine Tree. Gently curve the leaves with the bone folder, then glue the stem, flower, and leaves to the striped panel as shown. Punch out the lavender banner die-cut and place silver “happy” Dazzles™ on it. Foam tape the banner to the striped panel at the lower right. Use sticky tape to attach the panel to the card’s lower front, 1/8" from the bottom.
For the inside: Cut 4¾"x4¾" Hydrangea Heaven purple striped cardstock with the flowers at the upper right and glue it centered on the inside. Cut 3½"x6½" pink cardstock and fold in half. Open this little card and fold the front edge inward to the center fold, creating a small easel card. Use sticky tape on the back to attach it to the inside, centering it along the lower edge.
Cut 3¼"x1½" pink striped cardstock and glue it to the upper front panel of the small easel card. Cut 3¼"x3¾" Hydrangea Heaven swirls cardstock and ink the edges with Damson Wine. Glue it to just the lower front panel on the small easel card.
Punch out the Hydrangea Heaven tag die-cut shown and ink the edges with Damson Wine, then glue it to the swirls cardstock as shown. Cut out the “happy birthday” and “smile” cutouts and mat both on cardstocks as shown with 1/16" borders. Glue them overlapping the tag as shown. Knot a 4" ribbon length, trim the ends, and glue the knot to the tag hole.
Open the small easel card. Cut 3¼"x 3" Hydrangea Heaven swirls and flowers cardstock and glue it centered on the inside panel. Punch out the “let’s celebrate” label, mat it on purple cardstock with 1/16" borders, then foam tape it to the small card, ½" from the card bottom.
Cut 5¾"x4½" Hydrangea Heaven pink striped cardstock with the flowers along the left and mat it on pink cardstock with 1/8" borders. Die cut the large hydrangea base from purple cardstock.
