For the card front: Turn the card with the fold at the bottom. Cut Vintage Roses green border paper to cover the front with the border on the left and ink the edges brown. Rub the gold ink pad over a doily until completely colored, then glue to the paper, positioned as shown. Glue lace vertically on the paper 2¼" from the left edge, gluing the ends on the back. Glue the paper to the front.
Print the sentiment on a green label, then glue it over the doily, tucking it under the lace with the right end extending off the card. Coil a red Mizuhiki strand following the illustration and secure the shape with a ¾" tape. Attach over the label and lace as shown. Tie a 4" ribbon onto the keyhole and attach over the cord with tape.
For the inside. Cut a 5½"x4½" cardstock. Fold a 3" ribbon in half and glue the ends to the cardstock at the lower right. Cover with Christmas red paper and ink the edges brown. Ink a doily gold and glue angled near the right edge. Print the sentiment on a red label and glue over the doily, 5/8" from the right edge. Place the cardstock inside the card with the ribbon loop at the upper left and centered along the right edge. Close the card and punch a hole through all the layers, centered on the right side, 3/8" from the edge. Insert the brad to secure. Check placement by pulling up on the ribbon loop to bring the inner card so it’s right side up beside the outer card. Tape the left edges of the outer card together.
