Create your card: Place the card with the fold on the left. Cover with Happy Days circles paper. Open your card and cut out the center of the card front ONLY, leaving a 1” frame around each side. Cut a 4¾"x6¼” white cardstock. Place ¼” Ultra Clear tape along the bottom edge and right side. Attach to the card inside, with bottom and right edges even. With the card still open, place Ultra Clear tape along the bottom edge and right side of the inside. Close the card and press down along the taped areas. You now have a pocket with an extra piece of cardstock in the middle. Cut a thumb tab centered at the top, cutting through all layers.
Ink the cheering girl stamp with black ink, and stamp it first on a piece of scrap paper. Now stamp it centered on a 3¾"x5½” cardstock, so it leaves a very light impression. Color the image on cardstock in with the Spectrum Noir pens using OR1 for the hair and bandage, LV1 for her sweater, CT3 for the skirt, DR1 for shirt bottom, bracelets, necklace, bows and socks. Add the pinwheels Dazzles™ to each hand, and a crown to her head. Stamp “Hooray” near the top in black. Cut a 4”x5½” heat resistant acetate. Stamp the cheering girl in VersaMark™ ink, sprinkle with black embossing powder, and tap off the excess. Set with a heat gun. Line up the embossed acetate image over the colored image and use Ultra Clear tape to make a hinge at the top of the two pieces, holding them together. Trim the two pieces even with each other.
Place a length of Jewel Border Dazzles™ along the top of the acetate to cover the tape, and place two lengths along the bottom to decorate. Punch a hole near the top, and insert a red grosgrain ribbon for pulling.
Slip the hinged piece inside the pocket, sliding the inner cardstock in between the colored image, and the acetate image. The image viewed on the front will be black and white. Place Red Jewel Border Dazzles™ around the card front edges as shown. If your acetate has a hard time sliding past the frame edge, slip a small 1/8” square of foam tape under the bottom frame section as far down as you can put it. This will lift the frame edge a bit so the acetate can slide under.
