Do Something Everyday Card
Card front: Place the card with the fold at the top. Cover with Black cardstock.
Cut a 6”x4 ½” white cardstock. Stamp the two large flower stamps in VersaMark™ ink along the left side and bottom right corner as shown. Cover with clear embossing powder. Tap off the excess powder, and set with a heat gun. Spritz the paper with water so it is wet. Put a few drops of Topaz and Amethyst Izink ink all over the paper. Use a wet paintbrush to move the colors around. Do not mix too much–just enough to spread them out and still see the color. While still wet, use a wet paper towel to clean the color off the resist areas just a bit. Let dry.
Stamp the sentiment in black ink. Stamp a few small butterflies in black around the resist images. Use a fine-tip paintbrush to color in a few of the small stamps with the Izink ink. Paint the “SMILE” letters with alternating Amethyst and Topaz Izink ink. Place Small Gold Jewel Dazzles™ in the flower centers. Stamp a separate flower and extra butterfly onto white cardstock in black ink, and color in with Amethyst, Mango and Topaz Izinks. Cut your images out close to the edges, and foam tape onto their corresponding images. Glue the inked cardstock centered on the card front.
Card inside: Glue a 5½”x3” Simply Susan purple dot paper to the center. Glue a 2” square of Simply Susan gray paper on the left, ¼” from the purple edge. Stamp a butterfly on white cardstock. Color in with Izink™ inks. Cut out close to the stamped edge, and foam tape to the gray square. Stamp “Happy Thoughts” on the purple paper to the right of the gray square. Embellish the butterfly and flower center with Gold Jewel Dazzles™. Use a black pen to draw antennae on the butterfly, and to outline the gray square.
