Smile Tri-fold Card
Card base: Measure 3¼” from the left and right sides of 11”x5¼” black cardstock and score vertical lines at each measured mark. Cover the left panel with 3¼”x5¼” Chalkboard white border paper, keeping the corner artwork at the bottom right corner (at the left score line). Cover the right panel with 3¼”x5¼” Chalkboard white border paper, keeping the corner bottom left corner (at the right score line). Turn your card over and cover the center panel with 4½”x5¼” Chalkboard white border paper, keeping the border stripe at the bottom. Glue 4½”x1½” Chalkboard white border paper just above the bottom border stripe, keeping this piece’s border stripe on top. Glue 4½”x1/4” Chalkboard white border paper artwork on the top edge of the center panel. Valley fold on each scored line, creating a tri-fold card with the right panel folded over first and the left panel folded over last.
Card front panels: Use VersaMark™ to stamp the bunny/lamp on the left side of the left panel, 1” from the top edge of your card. Dust with embossing powder, tap off the excess and set with the heat gun. Stamp and emboss the birdbath on the right side of the right panel, 1 1/2” from the top edge of your card. Stamp and emboss the lamp portion of the bunny/lamp on Silver Fireworks holographic paper, cut out closely around the lamp edges and glue over the lamp image on the left panel. Starting 1” from the bottom right corner of the left panel, trim around the stamped image with a 1/8" border, keeping the left border stripe in place. Starting 2 1/4” from the bottom left corner of the right panel, cut around the stamped image with a 1/8" border, keeping the right border stripe in place.
Use the small brush to place Perfect Pearls™ in the container lids and mix with a little water to create your “paint.” Paint the images on the two front panels as shown. Let dry. Place corner, dragonfly, butterfly and “Smile” Dazzles™ onto the panels as shown.
Card center panel: Stamp and emboss the bench stamp centered at the top of the center panel and color in the image with Perfect Pearls™ as in Step 3. Let dry. Stamp and emboss “May rays of sunlight…” between the two border strips on the bottom. Place scroll Dazzles™ above and below the words, and butterfly and flower Dazzles™ on the garden image above. Zot™ a small bow of ¼” green sheer ribbon on both sides of the sentiment.
Fold the card closed, turn over and glue an 18” length of ¼” ribbon on the back, ¾” from the bottom edge. Turn your card over, still folded and tie the ribbon on the front to secure your card. Mat the entire card on holographic paper with a 1/16" border.
