You’re a Hoot Card
Card front: Cut the card to 4”x6”. Place the card with the fold on left. Cover the card with North Country orange fern paper. Glue a 2¾"x6” North Country leaves paper centered on the card front. Use the Easy Circles template to trace a 2” circle centered on the card front, 7/8” from the top. Cut the circle out, cutting through the card front ONLY. Ink the edges of the circle with brown ink. Place two branch Dazzles™ on the left as shown with a couple twigs extending into the open circle. Place the top of a lantern Dazzles™ onto the edge of North Country orange fern paper leaving the lantern base open, and cut close to the Dazzles™ edge. Repeat the process to back the lantern base onto an ivory section of North Country leaves paper. Glue as if hanging from a branch. Place a squirrel Dazzles™ on the bottom right corner.
Stamp the owl front and back on white cardstock. Color with Spectrum Noir pens and cut out close to the outline. Foam tape the two aligned pieces together and glue into the circle with front hanging over the card front just a bit. Stamp the “You’re a Hoot” on a 1 3/8”x5/8” white cardstock. Mat on North Country orange fern paper with 1/4” borders. Mat again on North Country green fern paper with 1/8” borders. Foam tape to the card front, 1” from the bottom and 1/8” from the right side.
Card inside: Use the Easy Circles Template to trace 3” circle on North Country green fern paper. Cut out and glue centered, ½” from the card top. Close card and place moon and star Dazzles™ onto the green fern paper around the owl. Computer journal or write “Happy Birthday” on a 3”x1” white cardstock. Mat on North Country orange fern paper with ¼” borders, and again on North Country green fern paper with 1/8” borders. Glue centered below the green circle.
