Congratulations Card
Card front: Cut a 6½”x5” Kraft Cardstock. Cut a 3”x4½” paper from the upper right corner of the Homeward Bound collage page, using just the swirl part of the paper. Mat on Homeward Bound blue paper with 1/8” borders. Insert a Homeward Bound Embellies™ compass 1½” from the top of the collage paper. Glue to the left side of the Kraft paper with 1/8” borders on the top, left and bottom.
Place a blank white card with the fold on the left and cut to 4¼”x4¾". Open the trimmed card and stamp the right fold stamp (with the Café and small lamp post) on the right side of the card, about 1 1/4” from the top. Stamp again on 4”x4” scrap paper. Cut out close to the edge and align over the first image to create a “mask”. Use stencil tape to hold in place if desired. Ink the middle image (with the main buildings) and stamp in the upper left corner, overlapping the first masked image. Close the card, and stamp the third image on the front flap, in the bottom right corner close to the fold. Closely trim the right edge of your image, cutting through the card front ONLY.
Color in the images with watercolor pencils, and use the waterbrush to smooth and blend the color. Stamp the sentiment on white cardstock, trim to 2”x1/2” and mat on Kraft cardstock, leaving 1/16” borders. Tape to the card inside, behind the staircase flap.
Insert a small Homeward Bound Embellies™ on the Café door. Glue to the right side of the Kraft cardstock, with 1/16” borders on the top, bottom and right sides.
Place a “Congratulations” Dazzles™ on a 1 7/8”x1/2” white cardstock. Mat on Homeward Bound blue paper, leaving 1/8” borders. Foam tape to the left side of the stamped card ¾" from the top, trimming away a small part of the front flap if necessary. Place a “Friend” Dazzles™ on a 1 1/8”x1/2” white cardstock. Mat on Homeward Bound blue with 1/8” borders. Foam tape to the left of the stamped image ½” from the bottom. Knot a blue ribbon and Zot™ above the Homeward Bound Embellies™ compass.
