What A Happy Day Card
Combed Background: Peel the protective backing from one side of the Creative Palette. Drip dots of Spiced Marmalade and Picked Raspberries onto the Creative Palette and use the brayer to roll the paint out onto the palette. Drag the teeth of the comb across the wet paint and then place the 5 3/8”x4” ivory cardstock on top of the palette and lightly press down with hands. Immediately peel off the cardstock to see the transferred pattern and paint. Let dry. Ink edges of rectangle black.
Card Front: Place the card with the fold at the top and cover with Grapefruit black dot paper. Ink the card edges black. Stamp the butterflies border in black down the right side of the painted rectangle, and mat with Grapefruit pink/orange/black tile paper with 1/8” borders. Ink the edges and glue to the card center.
Stamp the large butterfly image on the card left and “What A Happy Day” at the top. Color the top of wings and body with Spectrum Noir PP5 pink pen and add orange glitter glue to wing details, border and greeting as shown. Let dry.
Inside: Ink the right edge of 1¾”x5” Grapefruit pink/orange/black tile paper and glue to the left side of the card. Stamp “Thinking Of You” on the card center and a small butterfly at the top right. Color the butterfly with Spectrum Noir PP5 Pink pen and embellish both the butterfly and the greeting with orange glitter glue. Let dry.
