Pastel Thank You Card
Cover the card with Color Me™ flourish paper. Place a felt pad on the alcohol ink applicator and apply several drops of willow and cloudy blue onto the felt pad. Place the card on a craft sheet and dab the ink all over the card. Wipe off excess with a paper towel. Place a few drops of Alcohol Blending Solution on a clean paper towel and lightly wipe over the whole card, revealing the white design.
Cut a 5”x4 1/2” piece of flourish paper and ink and wipe the same way, using just cloudy blue. Glue the piece centered to the card.
Cut out the scalloped border from the borders & tags, making sure to cut just outside of the embossed edge. Ink with Willow and glue pieces of the border to the card, fitting across the top and bottom of the blue piece. Cut out a tag and ink with Willow and Cloudy Blue (like the background). Write a greeting on the tag. Glue 6 1/2” of pale blue grosgrain ribbon vertically on the card, 1 1/4” from the left edge. Glue the tag centered over the ribbon. Cut 10” of sheer blue ribbon and blue grosgrain ribbon. Holding both ribbons together, tie a bow and glue it at the top of the tag.
For the inside: Cut 5”x2” of flourish and use a few drops of Willow plus a few drops of Alcohol Blending Solution to ink it a light shade of Willow. Glue to the card 1” from the top. Cut out the straight border and ink it with a mixture of Willow and Cloudy Blue. Trim and glue it across the top and bottom of the Willow piece. Cut out the butterfly tag and ink it Cloudy blue, then glue it 1/2” from the left and 1 3/4” from the top. Cut out a fancy label and ink it with Willow and Cloudy Blue. Apply 2-3 layers of ink to get a darker shade before wiping the white design with Alcohol Blending Solution. Write a message with a permanent marker, then glue to card 1/2” from the right and 2 1/4” from the top.
