Happy Birthday
With the fold at the top, cover the card front with yellow/pink/orange/blue/teal/lime/purple striped paper. Stamp the cake image onto yellow textured paper, sprinkle Garnet embossing powder over the stamped image, and pour excess back into the container. Use the Heat Tool to emboss the image. Trim to a 2 ½” x 3 ¾” rectangle. Color in the cake layers with Taffy, Pool, Gold Lamé,; and Sugarberry. Let dry, and add Moonlight over the Sugarberry color. Color in the base and candles with Moonlight, and the flames with Gold. Use the side of the brush to edge the rectangle with Pool Smooch. Let dry, then mat on purple textured paper, leaving a ¼” border. Glue corners to the card front, centered 1” from the right side.
Stamp and emboss “Happy Birthday” onto green textured paper, then stamp and emboss the dotted border image below it. Trim to a 2 ¼” x 3” rectangle. Color in the open areas of the embossed images with Smooch colors as shown. Edge the rectangle with Pool Smooch. Glue to the card front to the left side of the cake image, tucking the right side of the green rectangle beneath the purple mat. Zot ribbon as shown.
Inside the card: Glue 5” x 2” striped rectangle across the inside, ½” from the bottom. Stamp and emboss the left side of a 5” x 1” green textured rectangle with the border, butterflies, and swirl images, then fill in open areas and edge with Smooch as shown. Glue centered across the striped rectangle. Stamp and emboss the presents with swirls image and words as shown on yellow textured paper. Trim to a 3 ¼” x 2 ½” rectangle, then color in and edge the rectangle with smooch. Mat on purple and glue over the striped rectangle, even with the right side of the card. Zot ribbon as shown.
