For the card outside: Place the Giant Star Card template on the back of the glittered violets paper and lightly draw around the large star. Cut it out, fold it on the fold lines, then ink the edges black.
Trace the 2”x2 ¼” tag from the Office Envelopes template onto the purple scroll paper. Cut it out and ink the edges. Stamp “{ birthday }” in purple on a lavender stripe in the striped paper. Cut it to 3”x 5/8” and ink the edges. Adhere the “happy” sticker across the tag and glue the “birthday” strip below it. Wrap the ends of the strip to the back and glue to secure.
Add two mini brads to the sticker and two butterfly brads to the tag as shown. Attach a regular brad to the tag top, then tie a 4” ribbon length around it, between the paper and the brad head. Mat the tag on cardstock and set it aside.
For the card inside: Cut a piece of cardstock to fit the inside center of the star card, but don’t glue in place yet. Cut a piece of the purple scroll paper 1/8” smaller on all sides and glue it centered on the cardstock.
Lift just the upper left corner of the “A Day To Remember” sticker off the backing and cut a tiny hole to insert a butterfly brad. Add the brad, then wrap a 4” ribbon length around the prongs as in step 3. Now lift the entire sticker off the backing and mat it on cardstock. On the back of the matted sticker, score every 2”. Accordion-fold the matted sticker.
Trace and cut the medium envelope from the striped paper. Line the inside back with a piece of the glittered violets paper. Ink the edges and glue the flaps to secure it. Glue the envelope to the inside piece as shown.
Stamp “wishing you…” in purple on a lavender stripe. Cut it to 3 1/4”x 5/8” and ink the edges. Mat it on black, then attach it across the envelope, securing it with two brads. Glue the constructed inside piece to the inside back of the star card.
Close the card by tucking the petals under each other. Use a glue dot to attach the upper tab of the sticker to one star petal, positioning it to cover the card center, but still allow the petals to be opened and closed.
