Green & Lavender Friendship Card
For the card front: Position the card with the fold at the top. Cut the striped paper to match the card front; tack it down in two places, but don’t glue it securely. Cut away the lower front in a curve as shown.
Lift up the paper and attach the large lavender flower brad at the center of the curve, extending ¼” below the edge. Add the small blue flower brad to the center. Glue the paper securely to the card front.
Cut a 1 ¼”x6 ½” strip of green flowered paper. Cut a 1”x6 ½” strip of purple paper and use the scissors to scallop one long edge. Glue it to extend from behind the lower edge of the green strip. Glue the green and purple strip at the top of the card front.
Glue the purple tag extending from under the flower. Cut out the friendship stamp, add foam tape, and attach it to the tag. Knot a 3” length of ribbon and trim the ends. Glue it to the flower and tag as shown.
For the inside: Cut a 1 ¾”x6 ½” strip of the green paper and a 1”x6 ½” strip of purple. Scallop one purple edge and attach it to the upper edge of the green strip as before. Wrap a 7” ribbon length across the strip near the straight edge and glue the ends at the back. Add three brads on the right end and one on the left end. Glue the strip to the inside back of the card along the lower edge. Add your personal note to the inside.
