With Love Card

For the card front: Place the card with the fold on the left and cut it to 4” wide. Cut a 1 ¾”x6 ½” strip of turquoise damask paper and glue along the right edge of the card front. Cut a 2 ½”x6 ½” piece of stripes and glue it along the left edge of the card front, overlapping the turquoise edge. Ink the card edges black. Carefully attach a length of the felt ribbon to the card front, centering it on the seam where the papers meet. Trim it even with the card edges.

Paint the LOVE Brad Buddy black and let it start to dry—about 3 minutes. While it’s still wet, use a paper towel to gently rub the paint away until the piece looks antiqued. Let it dry completely before handling it.

Cut a 2 ½”x2 ¼” piece of red textured paper and mat it on white cardstock. Use the pen to write “with” vertically along the left end of the piece. Attach the LOVE Brad Buddy on the right end. Add foam tape to the back on each end, then attach it to the card front ¾” from the lower edge.

For the inside: Cut out the quote, “When true love is present, all things are possible” and ink the edges. Mat it on red textured paper and ink the edges again. Glue it to the inside back.
