For the card front: Place your card with the fold on your left. Cover with Robin’s Red teal stripe paper. Use the Design Tool Kit to trace cut the Victorian Cutaway design from the right side of a 4½”x6½” Robin’s Red red diamond paper. Mat the left side and the cut-away side on black cardstock with 1/16” borders and then glue on the fold.
Mat the long edges of a 1”x6½” Robin’s Red teal flourish paper on black and wrap with 1/8” ribbon, gluing ends under the top and bottom edges. Glue ¼” from the fold. Attach red pearl Embellies™ through the card front, 3/8” from the top and bottom edges, as shown.
Apply white embossing paste to a 4”x5” white cardstock. Cover the cardstock but don’t put a very thick layer—think of it as buttering bread. Place the copied photo face down in the center of the embossing paste and press firmly. Brayer if you wish. Let dry completely.
Spritz the back of the copy with water and roll off the excess paper. Continue until all of the paper has been removed, leaving a reversed image. Let dry. Tear ½” off of the edges of the photo against the ruler to make a 3”x4” piece and mat on black cardstock with a 1/8” border, then on white with a 1/16” border. Glue the matted photo ½” from the fold, as shown.
Glue a knot of red crepe as shown and place “Home” Dazzles™ on the lower right corner of the photo. Add three black dots with the pen, as shown.
For the card inside: Mat the long edges of a 2”x6½” Robin’s Red red and teal flourish paper on black cardstock with 1/8” borders and glue 1/8” to the left of the fold, covering the brad prongs.
Mat a 4¼”x1¾” Robin’s Red teal flourish paper on black with a 1/8” border and glue 1/8” from the lower right corner. Place the “is where your heart is” Dazzles™ as shown. Add three black dots with the pen, as shown.
