Just For You Easel Card
Card front: Cut the Adorable Scorable birdcage cardstock to 5 7/8”x6&rdquo,; keeping the birdcage in the left corner. Cut another cardstock to 5 7/8”x8¼” with the birds and gift in the bottom right corner. Score the birdcage cardstock at 3” from the top and crease into a mountain fold. Score the birds/gift cardstock at 2” from the top and crease into a valley fold.
Glue the top 2” of the birdcage cardstock to the back of the birds/gift piece, even with the fold. This is the hinge for the card. Mat the pop-out birdcage rectangle on Iris Suede paper with 1/16” borders, and mat again on Silver Ripple Holographic paper with 1/8” borders. Mat a punch-out bird circle and a “Just for You” oval on Iris Suede paper with 1/16” borders. Foam tape the sentiment oval to the lower right corner and glue the bird circle above it and slightly to the left. Use Chambray ink to color the wood bird and birdcage embellishments. Zot™ the cage over the birdcage image, and the bird onto the circle bird. Zot™ a rhinestone flower under the bird. Knot a 3” blue ribbon and Zot™ to the top of the birdcage. Glue your matted cardstock to only the bottom fold of the card front, centered and 1/16” from the bottom edge.
Card inside: Mat the “With Lots of Love and Best Wishes” pop-out on Iris Suede paper with 1/8” borders. Mat again on Silver Ripple Holographic paper with 1/8” borders, and foam tape 2” from bottom. Use the raised sentiment to prop up the front of your easel card.
