To My Dearest Friend
Front: Place the folded die-cut card face up on your work surface. Use the paper patterns to trace the “front” shape on light blue shimmer paper with floral borders, with a floral border across the bottom edge of the shape. Cut out the shape and glue centered on the front panel of the card. Use the “left side” and “right side” patterns to trace 1 of each from light blue/gold foiled flowers and swirls cardstock. Cut out the pieces and glue on each side panel of the card as shown.
Pop out the birds foiled rectangle die-cut from the “Love Birds” sheet. Mat on light green/gold foiled flowers and swirls cardstock with 1/8" borders on top and sides, then trim the bottom edge even with the die-cut. Mat on dark green cardstock with 1/16” borders, trimming the bottom evenly. Glue centered on the front panel of the card, 5/8” from the bottom of the blue shimmer paper (the top edge will extend slightly over the top of the card). Pop out “To My Dearest Friend” from the “Pearly Pieces” sheet and glue on the right side of the birds rectangle as shown.
Pop out flowers from the “Butterfly Kiss” and “Butterfly Burst” sheets. Arrange overlapping on the lower left corner of the birds rectangle. Glue/foam tape as shown. Use 3/4" wide purple crepe ribbon to tie a bow. Trim the ends of the tails into a “V”. Zot™ the bow on the lower right corner of the birds rectangle.
Inside: Cut a 6 1/4"x3 3/4" light blue shimmer paper with floral borders, with a floral border across the bottom edge. Glue centered on the inside. Cut a 6 1/4"x3/4” light blue/gold foiled flowers and swirls cardstock. Mat long sides on white cardstock with 1/16” borders. Glue across the paper, 2” from the bottom of the card.
Pop out the birds foiled rounded square from the “Pearly Pieces” sheet. Mat on light green/gold foiled flowers and swirls cardstock with 1/4" borders. Mat on dark green cardstock with 1/16” borders. Glue centered on the card, even with the top edge of the blue shimmer paper. Arrange flower die-cuts overlapping the left side of the light green gold-foiled strip and glue in place. Pop out “Especially for You” from the “Love Birds” sheet and glue even with the bottom edge of the paper. Zot™ knotted ribbon as shown. Embellish the die-cuts with Gold Stickles™ on the front and inside. Let dry.
