Sending lots of Smiles
Front: Place your card with the fold on the left. Cover the card with Buttercup yellow plaid/pink border paper with the border at the bottom. Ink the edges black. Cut a 3 3/4"x5 1/4" Buttercup light gray/white dotted lines paper. Ink the edges black and mat on Buttercup pink/yellow leaves paper with 1/8” borders. Ink the edges black. Glue it even with the right side of the card, 5/8” from the bottom. Place Black Thin Lines Dazzles™ down the left side of the card near the edge, as shown.
Stamp 3 detailed flower blossoms, 1 detailed butterfly, and some foliage images, stems and leaves onto white cardstock with black ink. Cut out each image, leaving a thin white border on each. Use the #108 pencil and a wet paintbrush to paint the center areas of the butterfly and daisy centers yellow. Add yellow to a larger area of the remaining flower blossom. Use the #123 pencil and a wet paintbrush to add pink color to the remaining areas of the butterfly and flower blossoms. Use the #273 pencil and a wet paintbrush to color the open leaf images gray.
For the bouquet holder: Cut a 3 1/2" Buttercup yellow leaves paper. Cover the back with Buttercup pink paper. Turn the square on point with the pink side up. Find the middle of the top right side and mark it with a pencil. Repeat for the left side. Fold the paper from the marked point to the bottom point. Repeat for the left side so the right flap overlaps the left. Fold the inner points to the outside edges as shown. Glue the bouquet holder angled on the card front as shown, 1/8” from the bottom.
Finish the front: Arrange the flowers/stems/leaves and foliage inside the bouquet on the card as shown. Secure with glue or foam tape as needed. Gently fold the butterfly wings together and foam tape the body of the butterfly angled on the left side of the bouquet as shown. Use the 1/4” wide yellow organdy ribbon to tie a bow. Zot™ the bow on the front of the bouquet as shown.
Cut a 2 1/2"x3/4” Buttercup yellow plaid paper and ink the edges black. Stamp “Sending lots of Smiles” on the right side of the rectangle. Stamp a small flower on the left side of the words. Mat on Buttercup pink/yellow leaves paper leaving 1/16” borders. Ink the edges black. Foam tape it even with the left side of the card, 5/8” from the bottom. Place Black Thin Lines Dazzles™ down the right side of the yellow rectangle. Add Pink Jewel Dazzles™ as accents on the flower and butterfly images.
