HOME for the Holidays
Place your Center Step Die-Cut card with the main folds at the top. Use the Front paper pattern to trace the shape onto Christmas Cheer ivory flourishes paper. Cut out the shape. Stamp the house, trees, lamppost and Santa/reindeer on the paper with StazOn black ink. Cut 2 curved pieces of white cardstock to overlap across the bottom edge of the paper as shown. Stamp the car image on the right piece and the snowman on the left piece as shown, leaving the pieces separate for now.
Use a wet paintbrush to color in the base color of the house and the light on the lamppost with gold paint. Color the roof and front doors copper. Mix the burgundy and red paints together on the palette with the brush. Paint in the chimney, brick, bows, car, and the snowman’s hat and stripes on the scarf as shown. Mix a little bit of gold paint on the palette with some green paint for the green color. Paint in the green areas on the images as shown. Paint the snow areas with white paint. Paint the steps at the front of the house and car bumper silver. Add silver paint beneath the car and on curves of the white cardstock.
Glue the left piece of white cardstock on the bottom of the paper. Foam tape the right piece overlapping the left piece as shown. Mat the paper on red/white dots paper. Glue it centered on the card. Use the side patterns to create 2 panels from Christmas Cheer green/red/black tiles paper. Mat on Christmas Cheer red/white dots paper, trimming the bottom edge evenly on each. Glue the pieces in place. Stamp “There’s no place like HOME…” image on white cardstock with black ink. Trim to a rectangle and mat on red/white dots paper. Add a wash of gold ink around and between the words. Glue on the upper left portion of the center panel. Tie a burgundy bow and Zot™ in place.
