Birthday Page
Background: Use orange cardstock from the Classic Cardstock pack as your background. For the flag banners: Using the Build a Banner Template, cut out 5 Small Flags and 5 mini pennants from each of the following colors: red, yellow, and blue. (You will have extra flags left over). Glue a row of flags across the top of the page in blue, red and yellow, as shown. Draw a straight line across the page horizontally, 5 3/4" from the top. Glue a variety of flags along this line in yellow, red, and blue as shown.
Photos: For the first photo: Round the corners of a 3 3/4" x 3 1/2" photo using the 1/2" option on the Corner Chomper. Mat on blue cardstock with a 1/16" border. (Repeat this rounding and matting for all photos). Glue to page 3/8" from the left and 1 1/2" from the top. Round and mat a 5 1/4" x 3 1/2" photo on blue and glue to page 1/4" to the right of the first photo and 1 1/2" from the top. Round and mat a 4 1/2" x 4" photo on yellow and glue to page 4 3/4" from the right and 3/8" from the bottom. Round and mat a 4" x 4" photo on yellow and glue 1/4" from the right and 3/8" from the bottom.
Journaling: Punch out the green "Happy Birthday" banner and glue between the top two photos as shown. Punch out the "Bananas" starburst label and glue between the bottom two photos as shown.
Embellishing: Glue the large monkey die-cut in the top right corner, overlapping the photo slightly, as shown. Glue the large layered birthday cake in the bottom left corner, overlapping the photo as shown. Glue a candle on the top layer. Foam tape a blue bow over the existing blue bow on the cake. Glue a small candle die-cut on each of the flags that are showing. Glue a star to the top left corner of the top left photo, and another to the top right corner of the bottom right photo, as shown. Glue a party hat to the photo of the birthday celebrant in the top right photo, as shown.
