Sending Happy Thoughts Card
For the Front: For this technique, I did not use the included patterns to cover the card because I wanted it to cover the card panels completely without having the white border. Place the card with the heart near the top left. Assemble the card by making a mountain fold for the first fold and a valley fold for the second fold. Trace the front panel onto the back of the green diamond paper with pencil and cut out. Glue to the front panel. Do the same with the inside and spine, using floral for the inside panel, and small beige floral for the spine. You can also just measure your paper pieces and cut in rectangles to fit, and then trim out the curved heart shapes.
Once your card is covered (except for the hearts), stamp and emboss "With Love and Caring" in the center of the front heart with white embossing powder. Stamp and emboss "Sending Happy Thoughts" and hearts on the inside heart. Glue them to the card.
Punch out the first two layers of the bunch of jars image from the Papier Tole. On the first layer, carefully cut between the center and right jars. Foam tape the two left jars centered on the card front (with the short jar going over the center fold). Align the third jar with the rest and foam tape it to the inside. Take the second Papier Tole layer (short jar), align it under the front short jar and foam tape it to the inside. Trim the butterfly so it won't run into the fold. Test out the heart swing mechanism by opening and closing your card; trim anything that blocks the mechanism. Round all corners with the Corner Chomper (1/2").
