For the album: The album pages are printed with measurements for the papers you’ll need to cover each page. They’re only printed on one side of the page, so you’ll need to cut two of each in order to cover the front and back surfaces. I covered the pages in the left half of the album with Country Chic papers and the pages in the right half with Lacy Coral papers.
For the magnet closures: Take note of the circles printed throughout the album. These indicate placement for magnets. Glue one magnet on the circle. Then make sure you glue the corresponding magnet it will attach to when closing the album with the correct side up (the side that will attach to the first magnet). Once the magnets are glued in place, glue the patterned paper to the pages, covering the magnets.
For the Dazzles™: I used the white Fantastic Frames & Phrases Dazzles™ to embellish some of the pages. For the front, I printed the album title onto Country Chic burlap paper, then placed a frame Dazzles™ over it and cut it out. In another case, I cut the frame from around the "hello" and used just the frame for another title.
Jewel Dazzles™ and jewel border Dazzles™ are perfect embellishments for the album, adding sparkle and a finished look to the pages without adding bulk. I used silver jewels and white borders on the pages covered with Country Chic papers, then used copper jewels and copper borders on the Lacy Coral pages.
For the pocket dies: While these dies were designed to be used to create pockets on the pages, I chose to use the die-cuts as decorative embellishments. Instead, I created a large pocket with one of the page flaps, folding it up and gluing the sides. This pocket is large enough to hold extra photos, drawings, and memorabilia.
I cut many of the Adorn It doily die-cuts into pieces to use on page corners or along the edges of photos, trimming off the excess. The Fanci-Fold pocket die includes scored edges for folding and creating a dimensional pocket. Because I used the die-cuts as embellishments, I simply cut the excess off along the inside score lines.
The Adorn It pocket die set also includes three different slit dies to be used with the half doily. I die cut the individual slits from cardstock and used the narrow die-cuts as embellishments on the pages. I also included the slit dies in place in the opening of the doily die to add intricacy to the doilies.
For the ribbons: To attach a ribbon to a page, wrap a length (1" longer than the measurement needed) across the paper and glue the ends to the back. Glue the paper to the page. I chose to add knots to some ribbons instead of bows, simply to reduce the bulk on the pages.
