If Friends Were Flowers Card

For the Front: Place the card with the fold on the left. Cover with black floral pattern. Cut a 2" square of teal/yellow pattern and cut in half diagonally. Glue one of the resulting triangles to the top right corner. Use black StazOn® and a cosmetic sponge to ink all the edges. Place the largest lacy flower on teal paper and cut out, leaving a 1/16" border. Mat on yellow paper with a 1/16" border. Glue to card 2" from the right and 1/4" from the top. Trim any excess. Mat the medium lacy flower on yellow paper and foam tape it to the center of the large flower. Mat the small lacy flower on teal paper and foam tape it to the center of the flower, as shown. Cut a strip of the pink Dazzles™ material 4" long and about 1/4" wide. Place it on teal paper and cut out, leaving a 1/16" border. Mat on yellow paper with a 1/16 border. Glue this "stem" to the card, at an angle as shown. Cut a simple leaf shape about 2 1/2" long and 3/4" wide from teal paper and mat on yellow with a 1/16" border. Glue to the stem on the left side as shown.

Cut a 2 1/2" x 1 1/2" piece of yellow paper and round the left two corners with the 1/4" option on the Corner Chomper. Mat on teal with a 1/16" border. Glue to the card flush with the right side and 1" from the bottom. Place all the words of the greeting (front and inside) separated on teal paper and cut out each word leaving a 1/16" border. Glue "If Friends Were Flowers" to the yellow rectangle. Zot™ a small sheer pink dot bow to the top of the greeting.

For the Inside: Cut 1" x 5" strip of yellow and mat on black floral with a 1/8" border. Glue across card, 2 3/4" from the bottom. Mat a small flower with stem on teal paper with a 1/16" border and glue to the left side of the yellow strip as shown. Glue the words "I'd pick you!" to the right side as shown. Place several smaller lacy flowers in the top right and bottom left as shown.
