Congrats Steampunk Card
For the front: Place your card with the fold on the left. Cover your card front with brown cardstock. Cut four 5" x 3/4" strips of double-sided adhesive. Peel off one side of the backing on the strips. Apply the strips to the card, along the top and bottom, and then along the left and right, creating an adhesive frame around your card. Peel off the other backing to reveal the adhesive. In a small container, mix about a half teaspoon of Imperial Garnet Silk Microfine Glitter with about a quarter teaspoon of Antique Silver Microfine Glitter (measurements estimated). Pour a little of the mixed glitter along the inside edge of the adhesive frame, then use your finger to rub the glitter onto the adhesive. Keep rubbing and adding additional glitter until the entire frame is covered in glitter. Tap off excess. Burnish the glitter one more time with your finger and tap off excess.
Color in the Colorist image as shown, using the Spectrum Noir™ Marine Blendable Pencil Set. Use the paper stumps with the Spectrum Noir™ Blending Solution to blend and smooth the colors. Use the silver Wink of Stella marker to color in the gears in the background. Use the clear Wink of Stella marker to color in the rest of the background, including the dress form, wings, and butterflies. Cut out around the image, keeping just outside the black line to create a thin white border. Glue 4 1/2" of brown twill ribbon along the bottom of the cut image, 3/4" from the bottom; tape or glue ends to the back. Glue a small bow to the right side of the ribbon. Foam tape the image to the center of the card. Cut out the small label with gears. Color with the same pencils and blend with blending solution. Write "Congrats!" in the center with a permanent black pen. Cut out just outside of the black edge. Color over the label with the clear Wink of Stella marker. Foam tape to the top right, 1/8" from the right and 1" from the top.
For the inside: Cut 5"x2" of brown cardstock and cover the top 3/4" with double-sided adhesive. Apply glitter just as you did on the front. Glue narrow sheer teal ribbon across the top edge of the brown cardstock, taping ends to the back. Glue to the card flush with the bottom edge. Cut out the oval label and color it in with the blendable pencils. Color over it with the clear Wink of Stella marker. Write "Spread Your Wings" with a black pen, adding small hearts to the sides as shown. Foam tape the label to the card 1 1/2" from the bottom and 1/4" from the right. Glue a small teal crepe bow to the left of the label as shown.
