A Nesting Place Locking Gatefold Birthday Card
For the front panels: Cut 3½"x4¾" A Nesting Place birdhouse border cardstock, then cut it in half vertically to make two 1¾"x4¾" pieces. Glue them centered on the front panels. Place two gold border Dazzles™ across the upper front of each panel as shown, trimming the excess.
For the inside fold-down panel: Cut 5 1/8"x4¾" A Nesting Place corner birdhouse cardstock and glue it centered on the fold-down panel. Place the same two gold border Dazzles™ used on the front panels across the top, matching the placement of those on the front when the card is closed. Trim the excess.
Close the side panels. Punch out the A Nesting Place “you are in my heart” die-cut and attach a 5" gingham ribbon through the tag hole. Foam tape the small circle bird die-cut to the tag at the lower left.
Place two 3" lengths of foam tape side-by-side lengthwise on the tag’s center back. Stack two more 3" lengths on each of the first pieces. With the card closed, position the tag in the very center, overlapping the edges of the side panels and press.
For the inside: Open all the flaps. Cut 4¾"x4½" A Nesting Place yellow/green flourishes cardstock and mat it on light yellow cardstock with 1/8" borders. Place a wide gold border Dazzles™ vertically, 5/8" from the right edge, trimming the excess.
