For the card & front: Close the card and place it with the fold on the left. Cut it to 3" wide and 6" tall. Cut 2 7/8"x5¾" A Nesting Place green border cardstock with the double birdhouse in the lower left corner. Cut 4"x3" dotted vellum, then gently tear the long edges. Place it across the cardstock about ½" from the top, then wrap the ends to the back and glue.
Wrap 4" of lime green gingham ribbon over the vellum near the upper edge and glue the ends to the back. Glue the cardstock centered on the card front. Tie 3" of the same ribbon onto the first ribbon, ½" from the right end, and trim the ends.
Rub the Friar Brown ink pad over the double birdhouse until it’s completely colored. Press it onto the VersaMark ink pad, then cover it with embossing powder, tap off the excess, and heat the remainder to melt it. Repeat to emboss it twice more. Reheat the last covering of embossing powder, then quickly cover the birdhouse with salt, pressing it into the melted surface.
Let the chipboard cool completely, then tap off the excess salt. Reheat the chipboard with the heat gun to melt the salt into the embossed surface, then let it cool completely again. Rub off any excess salt with your fingers, then lightly sand it. Glue the birdhouse over the printed birdhouse on the card front.
Use the Honey Pot and Spring Meadow ink pads to color the “home sweet home” chipboard, blending the inks together in the center. Emboss it with the clear powder, then glue the greeting and two small posies to the front as shown.
For the inside: Cut 2¾"x4" A Nesting Place blue flourish cardstock and mat it on tan cardstock with 1/16" borders. Cut another 4"x3" dotted vellum piece, tear the longer edges, then wrap and glue it around the center of the blue cardstock. Glue the cardstock centered on the inside.
