Spring Tree Card
Card Front: Cut your card to 5" square and place with the fold on top.
Cut eight 5 1/2" lengths of green paper twine and unroll completely. Glue just the top edge of the strips to the card creating 1/2"-3/4" layers. Trim the edges flush with the card.
Cut a 4" square of white cardstock and stamp the spring tree in Brown ink 7/8" from the bottom edge and 1/4" from right. Color in the flowers and leaves with gel pens. Stamp "Spring is in the air" in pink ink as shown.
Cut a 4 1/2" green paper twine and unroll. Fold into quarters lengthwise and glue 1/4" from the bottom. Glue the ends to the back of the cardstock.
Foam tape to the center of a 4 1/4" square of Painted Flowers dark pink paper. Foam tape the panel to the center of the card.
Cut a 3" green paper twine, unroll completely and fold into quarters lengthwise. Zot™ the ends to the center. Cut a 1" green paper twine, unroll completely and fold into eighths lengthwise. Pinch the center of the first piece together and wrap the second piece around to create a bow. Zot™ to the green paper twine 1/2" from the edge of the white cardstock.
Card Inside: Stamp "You are so very special" in Brown ink in the center of a 5"x2" white cardstock. Cut two 2 1/2" green paper twine and unroll completely. Fold in quarters lengthwise and glue to the ends of the white cardstock 3/8" from each end and trim the edges. Glue to the center of a 5"x2 1/4" pink Painted Flowers paper and glue to the center of the card.
