Blue & Purple Flower Card
Card front: Place a blank card with the fold on top. Cover with Painted Flowers blue floral paper. Use the Design Tool Kit to trace and cut out a Bracket Cutaway from the bottom edge of your card. Ink the bottom edge silver and place two Border Dazzles™ along the fold.
Follow the instructions included with the punch board to create an “XS” (extra small, 4” diameter) sized flower from 2¼”x9” Amethyst Shimmer Sheetz. Punch and score the strip where indicated for an “XS” flower. Follow the instructions to accordion fold the strip into a circle and use Ultra Tape to secure the end petals to each other. Use the sponge to ink the edges with Silver StazOn®. Heat the petal tips briefly with the heat gun and use your fingers to gently curl the petal tips upward.
Repeat the process in step-2 to create two “XXS” (extra, extra small, 3” diameter) sized flowers from two 1¾”x6” Turquoise Shimmer Sheetz. Zot™ Pearl Blossoms on the centers.
Foam tape a Turquoise flower over the Amethyst flower and Ultra Tape onto the upper right corner of your card. Ultra Tape the other Turquoise flower onto the lower left corner.
Use the reverse punch to punch two opposite corners of 2”x2” Amethyst and Turquoise Shimmer Sheetz. Score a line down the center of each. Stamp “You make me Smile” on the Amethyst leaf. Foam tape both leaves under the large flower, as shown.
Card inside: Cover with Painted Flowers purple floral paper. Use the Design Tool Kit to trace and cut out a shaped card edge from the bottom edge of your card. Ink the bottom edge silver and place a Border Dazzles™ 1½” from the fold.
Use the Design Tool Kit to trace and cut out a small flower from Turquoise Shimmer Sheetz, and a large flower from Amethyst. Ink the edges, stamp “Thinking of you” on the large flower and foam tape over the small flower, on the Border Dazzles™.
