For the card front: Turn the card with the fold on the left. Cut 4¾"x6¼" Serendipity green floral paper and glue centered on the front. Punch two large and two small squares each from Serendipity turquoise dots, pink dots, and orange mesh papers. Glue a smaller square centered on each larger square, alternating the patterns. Mat each on white cardstock with 1/32" borders. Set aside the turquoise with pink square and glue the remaining five to the front as shown.
Punch a small square through the card front at the lower right. Punch a small square in a 3"x3" Serendipity turquoise dots paper. Center the small square in the large square punch’s hole and punch, creating a frame. Mat on white cardstock as before, then punch out the white center. Glue around the window. Punch petal pairs from yellow and turquoise cardstock, varying the styles, to create five flowers. Assemble the flowers, then glue one to each square. Glue a button in the center of each flower. Tie five thread shoestring bows and glue one to each button.
For the inside: Cover the inside with Serendipity light blue dots paper, positioning the scalloped border along the right and bottom edges. Stamp “it's your day” in the center of the pink/turquoise square and glue it centered behind the window when the card is closed. Stamp “happy birthday” and the swirly frame on Serendipity orange mesh paper. Trim to 3 1/8"x2" and mat on turquoise cardstock with 1/32" borders. Mat on yellow cardstock with 1/8" borders, then glue as shown. Knot the ribbon, trim the ends, and glue to the label as shown. Punch and create a flower from Serendipity turquoise dots paper and glue over the knot. Glue a button and a thread bow as shown.
