For the card front: Turn the card with the fold at the top. Cut Serendipity pink dots paper to cover the front and ink the edges plum. Cut two 1½"x5" Serendipity turquoise dots scallop borders. Trim along the scallops, ink the edges blue, then glue as shown. Cut two ¼"x5" silver paper strips and glue one to each border ¼" from the edge. Glue the lower half of the constructed front to the card.
Ink the large pink label edges plum and punch a hole in each end. Cut the ribbon in half and knot each piece in the center. Thread a ribbon through each hole, pulling the knot to the hole on the front. Foam tape the label to the front, then glue the ribbon ends under the front. Glue the upper half of the constructed front in place. Stamp “congratulations” in blue on Serendipity light blue dots paper and ink the edges blue. Mat on Serendipity turquoise dots paper with 1/16" borders and ink the edges blue. Mat on silver paper with 1/32" borders and glue to the front as shown.
Place a magenta cord between two blue cords and follow the instructions in the book to create an Abalone Shell Knot. Wire the ends together 7/8" from the last loops. Place a magenta cord between two teal cords and repeat to make a second knot. Brush glaze over the knots and let dry. Trim the ends at the wires, then place the knots end-to-end, tucking the wires behind the knots as shown. Secure together with Zots&trade,; then Zot™ the knots to the label.
For the inside: Cut a 5"x3¾" Serendipity turquoise dots paper with the scalloped border on the right. Ink the edges blue and glue to the inside. Stamp “good luck” in blue on Serendipity light blue paper and ink the edges blue. Mat on Serendipity pink dots paper with 1/32" borders, then mat on silver paper with 1/8" borders. Glue to the small pink label, then glue the label as shown. Place a magenta cord between a blue and a teal cord and create the Turtle Knot. Glaze as before, let dry, then glue to the inside as shown, trimming the ends even with the paper edges.
