Blue Paisley Father's Day Card
For the card front: Turn the card with the fold at the top and trim it to 5½" x 5". Trim an additional 1½" off the lower edge of the front. Cut a piece of the orange word circles to fit the front, including the red dotted border along the lower edge. Don't glue it yet.
Cut out the blank yellow tag and the "for your birthday" tag. Cut out the birthday cake art, leaving a narrow white edge on it. Cut "it's your day" and "wish" from the vinyl tag. Glue "it's your day" to the blank yellow tag. Position all the pieces on the orange word circles piece as shown and glue in place. Add the red brad to the yellow tag. Glue the constructed front to the blank card front.
For the inside: cut a 5½" x 3¾" piece of the striped paper, but don't glue it yet. Cut "delight" from the vinyl tag and glue it to the blank orange tag. Cut the orange tag to 1¾" long and secure it to the striped piece at the lower right. Glue the striped piece to the inside back, aligning the lower edges.
Cut out the "Happy Birthday" tag and add a red brad to it. Glue it to the upper white area of the inside back, angled as shown. Cut a section of words off the remainder of the vinyl tag and back it with a piece of the word circles paper, cutting the paper so plain yellow is behind "streamers." Glue the word section to the striped piece, positioned as shown.
