Friendship Envelope (Tag Book)
For the envelope front: A 5" square envelope is used for this project. Cut a 3" x 5" piece of the brown squares paper. At the top, measure 1" from the right edge and mark that point. Draw a line from that point down to the lower right corner and trim along this line. Ink the edges.
Cut a ½" x 5½" piece of the brown textured paper and glue it as a mat along the right edge of the squares piece. Ink the edges. Cut a ½" x 5" piece of brown plaid and ink the edges. Glue it to the squares piece, ½" from the left edge. Cut out the tan tag and glue the left end in place on the squares piece as shown. Add a brad to the tag. Glue the constructed piece to the envelope front.
Cut out the gold "true" tag and the "friends forever" bottle cap without the frame around it. Add foam tape to the bottle cap, then glue both pieces to the envelope front overlapping the tag as shown.
For the envelope back: Cut a 5" x 1½" piece of the plaid and glue it to the envelope flap. Trim off any excess. Cut a 5" x ½" strip of the squares paper and ink the edges. Glue it across the plaid piece, ¼" from the upper edge. Cut out the "best friends" bottle cap and glue it to the center of the lower plaid section, extending below the edge.
