For the card front: Turn the card with the fold on the left and trim it to 5" x 5½". Open the card and cut ¾" off the right edge of the front. Cover the front with the lime/blue circles paper. (I positioned the paper so the "friends" circles were not included on the front or inside the card.) Use the pen and ruler to draw the line around the edge, then add in the dots.
Cut a 4½" x ¾" piece of the striped paper and mat the long edges with the teal texture. Glue the strip across the card front, 1¼" from the lower edge. Cut three blue slide mounts apart, then trim them to 1 5/8" square. Cover one with the teal texture, one with lime, and one with lavender. Draw the line/dot design around the outer edge of each.
Cut a 1½" square of each of the same three textured papers. Glue the teal square behind the lime frame, the lavender square behind the teal frame, and the lime texture behind the lavender frame. Cut out the yellow A, the lime B, and the teal C alphabet tiles. Glue them in the centers of the slide mount frames, creating "blocks." Stack the blocks as shown on the front. Cut out the small letters for "baby" and glue them below the strip as shown.
For the inside: Cut a 3¾" x 3½" piece of the circles paper and mat the longer edges with lavender texture. Draw the lines/dots design around the edge of the circles paper, then glue it to the inside back, positioned along the fold.
Cut a 1½" x 5½" piece of the stripes, positioning the piece so when it's glued in place, the same section of stripes used on the front will line up with that section when the card is closed. Mat the left long edge with teal texture, then draw the line/dots design along the upper, lower, and right edges of the striped piece. Glue it to the inside back along the right edge.
Cut out the tiles for "congratulations" using a large C and small letters for the other letters. Glue them across the circles piece, allowing the wording of the circles to show. Cut a hyphen from the black edge of the alphabet tile paper and glue it in place to break the word apart.
