Flowers & Bird Birthday Card
For the card front: Turn the card with the fold on the left. Cut Batik tiles paper to cover the front. Squeeze a dot of lettuce ink onto a sponge and rub along the edges of the paper. Cut a 2"x5½" Batik purple tapestry paper and a 3¼"x1¾" green circles paper. Ink the edges lettuce, then glue to the tiles paper as shown. Glue green ribbon vertically over the purple paper edge, gluing the ends on the back.
Place the bird/flowers Dazzle™ on the craft sheet. Rub silver ink over it, then wipe off the excess with a paper towel. Place on the card as shown. Wrap purple ribbon across the card over the Dazzle, gluing the ends on the back. Insert flower brads in the ribbons as shown. Glue to the card. Stamp “just for you” in brown on the green circles paper. Stack a small teal flower on a large purple flower and secure with a brown brad. Lightly sponge the flowers with lettuce. Glue to the front, then knot and glue a 3" purple ribbon under the upper petals. Place a flower Dazzle on each brad.
For the inside: Cut a 4¼"x5" Batik purple tiles paper, ink the edges lettuce, and glue to the inside. Cut a 3"x2½" ivory cardstock and ink the edges lettuce. Squeeze cherry chocolate ink onto a sponge and dab onto the frame stamp. Stamp it on the ivory. Stamp “happy birthday” and two swirls in brown in the frame. Mat on Batik blue plaid paper with ¼" borders and ink the edges lettuce. Mat on Batik green circles paper with 1/16" borders, ink the edges brown, and glue as shown.
Place the wide border Dazzle™ and the butterfly on the craft sheet. Rub the silver ink pad over the border and wipe off the excess. Pat the silver ink pad onto the butterfly, but don’t wipe it off. Let dry, then place on the inside as shown. Place flower and jewel Dazzles™ as shown.
