For the card front: Cut the card to 5"x5" and turn so the fold is on the left. Open the card and cut 1" off the right front edge. Cut a 3¾"x4¼" Textured lavender sponged paper and ink the edges purple. Trace and cut a circle from Textured purple handmade paper and ink the edges purple. Stamp the lace circle on it in watermark ink, then sprinkle embossing powder over it. Tap off the excess, then use the heat tool to melt the powder. Glue to the lavender paper in the lower right corner, trimming off the excess. Glue the lavender piece centered on the front, leaving the lower half unglued.
Cut out the two Posters labels shown, leaving 1/32" purple borders on both. Glue to the front as shown. Cut two 3" ribbons, set one aside and tie the other onto the remaining ribbon. Glue the ribbon across the card, wrapping the ends to the back and positioning the knot as shown. Print “baby” on lavender paper and glue behind the black turn mount. Trim off the excess. Use the jump ring to attach the Asian coin and turn mount onto the ribbon, just right of the knot. Use the Mizuhiki cord to make an Abalone Shell knot, following the diagram. Glue the ends under the ribbon and trim the excess.
For the inside: Cut a 4¾"x4¾" Textured lavender paper and ink the edges purple. Stamp and emboss the 1/8" wide lace along the left edge and the ½" wide lace along the right edge. Glue centered on the inside. Cut out the two Posters label and stamp shown. Copy and size the sentiment to 1 7/8" wide. Print on white paper and cut out with 1/16" borders on the edges. Glue it, the label, and stamp as shown. Make a second Abalone Shell knot with the cord and glue as shown. Knot the 3" ribbon and glue over the cord as shown.
