Laugh & Play Birthday Card
For the card front: Turn the card with the fold on the left. Cut Textured blue woven paper to cover the front and ink the edges purple. Cut a 2"x6½" Textured purple music paper, ink the edges purple, and glue along the left edge of the blue paper. Cut a ¼"x6½" Heritage navy cardstock strip and glue to the music paper, ¼" from the right edge. Tie one end of the blue twill to a hanger with a 1½" tail. Attach the hanger to the blue paper with a pink brad, next to the right edge and 2" from the bottom. Wrap the twill across the paper and glue the end on the back. Glue the paper to the card.
Cut out Word Garden “play” and ink the edges purple. Glue against the cardstock strip, tucking the bottom under the twill. Stamp “Happy Birthday” and two stars on the gold label in black, then glue it above “play” as shown. Tie sheer blue ribbon onto the clamp and attach it to the label’s upper edge. Cut out Word Garden “delight,” ink the edges purple, and mat on navy cardstock with 1/32" borders. Glue under the clamp as shown. Rub the purple ink pad over the “laugh” tile and let dry. Punch out the gold embossed heart and hinge. Glue them and place the tile as shown.
For the inside: Cut Textured lavender text paper to cover the inside and ink the edges purple. Tie the blue sheer ribbon onto the hanger and attach to the paper as for the front, 2¾" from the upper edge. Glue the paper to the inside. Cut out the three Word Garden quotes shown and ink the edges purple. Add a blue star brad to each, then glue to the inside as shown. Pinch the blue ribbon 1½" from the left edge and place a Zot™ over the pinched area. If the button has a shank, use wire cutters to remove it. Press the button onto the Zot™. Punch out a small embossed gold hinge, cut in half and glue the halves as shown.

Pinch the blue ribbon 1½" from the left edge and place a Zot™ over the pinched area. If the button has a shank, use wire cutters to remove it. Press the button onto the Zot™. Punch out a small embossed gold hinge, cut in half and glue the halves as shown.
