Choose to Shine
Card Front: Place your card with the fold on the left and cover with Blue Star paper. Cut 4¾”x6¼” White Dot Vellum. Wrap an 8” length blue crepe ribbon vertically centered on the vellum and glue the ribbon ends to the back. Then glue the vellum piece centered on the card front. Cut 5¾”x4” white cardstock and emboss using the Swirl Frame embossing folder (following the manufacturer’s instructions). With a light touch apply Chambray ink to the raised areas, then glue onto the vellum, centered.
Stamp and color the doll (as shown) with the Spectrum Noir FS2 & FS3 for skin and EB2 for the hair. Use BT8 & IB3 for dress, shoes and hair bow. Stamp the dress again on vellum. Cut out the dress and glue over the stamped image. Stamp the wings on the vellum, using VersaMark™ ink. Sprinkle Vintage Blue Embossing Tinsel over the stamped image. Shake off the excess and heat to set. Make a slit between the hair and the doll on left shoulder. Cut out the wings and glue to the back of the doll, (slipping them between her hair and shoulder). Foam tape to the embossed cardstock 1¼” from the top.
Using the Easy Layered Ribbon Banners template, trace and cut out the Bitsy 2 ribbon banner. Ink the edges and stamp “Choose to Shine”. Trace and cut out the Bitsy 1 banner and ink the edges. Foam tape it on top of the Bitsy 2 banner then glue the assembled piece 1” from the bottom. Zot™ a knotted navy blue crepe ribbon to the bottom of the card and place Blue Jewel Dazzles™ as shown.
Card Inside: Cut 4½”x3” Blue Star paper and glue centered. Trace and cut a Rounded Label B from the Design Tool Kit. Ink the edges. Stamp “Believe” and swirls. Place Dazzles™ as shown.
