Hello Bird Card
Card front: Place a blank card with the fold on top. Cover with Fancy Feathers large feathers paper. Trace and cut the Victorian Cutaway on the front only. Ink the edges.
Trace and cut a 6½”x4” oval on brown cardstock. Tape off all but the large branch and bird on the stencil. Place the stencil on the oval, and tape it in place. Use the squeegee to apply embossing paste over the branch and bird. Remove and wash the stencil. Use the brush to apply Sapphire Mica Powder to the bird. Tap off the excess, being careful not to get the blue powder on the branch. Use the brush to apply Kiwi powder on all of the leaves. Tap off the excess, being careful not to get the green powder on the branch. Cover the branch with Nouveau Orange Mica Powder. Heat from the top with the heat tool, until the paste begins to bubble and crackle. Tape off all but the sitting bird on the stencil, and carefully tape the sitting bird so it is sitting on the branch. Squeegee Embossing Paste over the bird. Brush with Plum Royale Mica Powder, and heat until bubbly.
Mat the oval on Fancy Feathers Green paper, and Purple Circles Holographic paper with 1/16” borders each time. Foam tape to the card. Place the Dazzles™ as shown.
Card inside: Cover the inside with Fancy Feathers green paper. Ink the edges. Trace and cut a 5”x3” oval from brown cardstock. Ink the edges with VersaMark ink. Brush with Plum Royal Mica Powder. Use the technique in Step #2 to make a small Kiwi Branch on the right side. Place the Dazzles™ as shown. Glue a 6½”x1/8” Purple Circles Holographic paper on the bottom.
