Happy Thoughts Circle Card
Card front: Ink the edges of a 4 3/4”x6 1/4” White Truffle tan texture paper and mat on White Truffle black flourish paper with a 1/8” border. Use the die-cutting machine to cut a 1 7/8” circle 3/4” from the lower right corner.
Place your card with the fold on top. Place the matted paper over your card with the hole on the lower right and trace the hole onto the card front. Remove the paper, cut the hole in the card front only, then glue the paper in place. Ink the cut edges.
Use the die-cutting machine to cut a 2 1/2” circle from White Truffle striped paper, White Truffle black flourish, and hammered gold. Glue the flourish and striped circles in place, as shown.
Glue a 6”x10” White Truffle black dot paper to a 6”x10” black cardstock. Place the 2 1/2” cutting die on the cutting platform and place the 1 7/8” cutting die inside, keeping 1/8” away from the inside edge of the larger circle. Use tape to secure to the platform. Use the cardstock backed paper to create three White Truffle black dot frames, saving the small inner circle cutouts for later. Glue one frame on the flourish circle, and foam tape the other two over the striped circle and the cutout.
Foam tape the gold circle over the frames and foam tape a saved black dot circle offset on the gold. Place the “happy thoughts” Dazzles™ as shown. Back two small butterflies on White Truffle black dot and cut around the Dazzles™ edges. Zot™ on, as shown. Add tiny butterflies.
For the inside: Cover with hammered gold paper. Close your card and lightly trace through the window onto the gold. Open your card. Use the 2 1/2” and the 1 7/8” cutting dies to create a frame from White Truffle tan flourish paper, ink the edges and glue in place over the traced circle.
Back a medium butterfly on White Truffle black dot, curve the wings and foam tape centered in the frame. Create a 3 1/2” circle from black cardstock and two 1 7/8” circles from White Truffle tan flourish, and black flourish. Ink the edges. Glue the saved black dot circle, the large black circle and the tan circle in place, as shown. Foam tape the black flourish circle in place, as shown. Place “Thinking of You” and small butterfly Dazzles™ as shown. Back two butterflies on White Truffle tan flourish and Zot™ as shown.
