Mystic Moon Flying Owl Card

Instructions:

1. For the card front: Place the card with the fold on the left. Cut 4⅝"x6⅛" Mystic Moon blue floral border cardstock and ink the edges liberally with Royal Blue and then with Stormy Night just along the outer edges. Wrap swirl sheer ribbon across the cardstock, ½" from the bottom, and glue the ends to the back. Mat the cardstock on black cardstock with ⅛" borders, then glue it centered on the card front.

2. Die cut a 1¾" circle from white cardstock, then lightly ink the edges with Blueberry. Glue it to the front near the upper right corner as shown. Die cut a flying owl from black cardstock. Trim off his legs, then glue a tiny piece of dark blue cardstock behind his eyes and beak. Foam tape the owl as shown.

3. Trim the right end of the purple banner die-cut to 1⅜" long and place black “hello” Dazzles™ on it. Glue it at the upper left as shown. Make a 4-loop bow with the swirl sheer ribbon and tie the center with thread. Glue it to the first ribbon, 1½" from the left card edge. Lightly brush Stormy Night ink over a floret and its leaves, then glue the flower to the bow center.

4. For the inside: Cut out the blue sky and moon cutout and mat it on blue cardstock with ⅛" borders. Glue it centered on the inside. Cut out the “hope this brightens…” cutout and glue it at the lower right as shown. Die cut a large moth from blue cardstock and a small moth from purple cardstock. Lightly brush Stormy Night over them, then glue both as shown.
