Blue & Gold Congrats Card
For the Front: Place the card with the fold at the top. Cover with Homeward Bound blue stripe paper. Cut two 4¼”x6” Metallic Gold papers and run them through your die cutting/embossing machine. Cut 1” wide strips using the Woven Lattice design as your guide. Glue one strip across the card ½" from the top. Add another strip to the left of the existing strip so that the gold embossed paper goes all the way across the top of the card. Glue another strip vertically, 3/4" from the left.
Die cut an oval label from Homeward Bound ivory patterned paper. Place it horizontally on your cutting mat and make a cut 2 3/4" from the left. Stamp a flourish on the left side. Die cut a long label out of Metallic Gold paper. Stamp a rectangular flourish frame on the left side with Timber Brown StazOn® ink. Stamp “Congrats!” inside the frame as shown. Measure 2 1/4" from the left and trim the label. Glue onto the ivory label. Cut 4" each of sheer blue swirl and sheer ivory ribbon and thread through a hole on the left side of the label. Insert a blue Embellies™ brad and foam tape the label even with the right side of the card, 1/4" from the bottom.
Insert 4 pearl Embellies™ brads (2 brown, 2 blue) into the gold lattice embossed strips as shown. Glue the compass embellishment and insert the matching brad as shown.
For the inside: Cover with Homeward Bound blue stripe paper. Emboss a gold border using the Woven Lattice Embossing Folder and glue across the top as done on the card front. Zot™ a sheer blue swirl ribbon across the top as shown.
Die cut an oval label out of Gold Metallic paper and stamp the matching oval frame using Timber Brown StazOn® ink. Glue the label vertically 1" from the left side and trim even with the bottom edge. Die cut a long label from Homeward Bound ivory pattern paper and ink the edges. Glue centered on the Gold Metallic label and trim. Write a small greeting on the Embellies™ tag and insert the pearl brad through a folded blue sheer and ivory sheer ribbon and secure as shown. Zot™ onto the label as shown.
