Loving Thoughts Card
For the Front: Place the card with the fold on the left. Cut 4 7/8”x6 3/8” Kindred Spirits green paper. On the left side, measure 4” down from the top and make a pencil mark. On the right side, measure 2” down from the top and make another mark. Connect the two marks with a pencil line. Cover the resulting top area with Kindred Spirits brown floral paper, placing the floral rows at a diagonal (parallel to the diagonal line). Round the top right and bottom right corners with the Corner Chomper.
Die cut a curved label from white cardstock. Stamp “Sending Loving Thoughts” in the center with Fawn Fluid Chalk Ink. Stamp swirly leaves surrounding the label as shown. Glue the label centered 1” from the bottom.
With Fawn Fluid Chalk ink, stamp 3 flowers on the bottom. Using Fawn ink, stamp 3 large flowers on Kindred Spirits pink paper and 2 more on white cardstock. Cut out the large flowers. Glue the pink flowers to the stamped flower images on the bottom of the background and glue the white flowers as shown.
Remove the layers of the flower border from the Papier Tole sheet. Mat the bottom layer on white cardstock with a 1/16” border. Glue the bottom layer to the background paper along the diagonal line as shown. Match up the remaining layers and trim the excess on the flower (do not apply foam tape yet). Take the pink flower layer (second to the last layer) and stamp a matching flower on it with VersaMark™ ink. Emboss with Kaleidoscope Embossing Powder. Assemble the remaining layers of the image with foam tape.
Glue the background piece to the blank card front. Round the top right and bottom right corners using the Corner Chomper. Place 5mm and 3mm pearls on the flowers as shown.
For the inside: Cover with Kindred Spirits stripe paper. Die cut a large long label from white cardstock. Stamp “You’re So Special” on the right side with Fawn ink. Glue the label 1/8” from the right and 1 ¼” from the top.
Emboss a large flower stamp on Kindred Spirits pink paper with White Embossing Powder. Cut around the image, leaving a 1/16” border. Mat on brown cardstock with a 1/16” border. Glue overlapping the blank left side of the label as shown. Glue the “extra art” die cut flower from the Papier Tole sheet in the center of the flower.
