Inside/Out Flower Die Easel Card

Instructions:

1. For the card & front: Cut 10"x5½" Sunflowers tan border cardstock. Fold it in half with the tan side on the outside to make a 5"x5½" card. Place it with the fold at the top, then score across the front 2½" from the lower edge. Center the inside-out die on the score with the smallest flower section toward the lower card edge and aligning the scoring portion of the die with the score line. Open the card and die cut the flower.

2. Fold the front on the score line to the inside, allowing the flower to “flip” up and creating the easel style. Unfold the score. Die cut the 2½" bloom from acetate. Glue the tips of the petals to the flower on the front. (It doesn’t fit exactly, but it creates a base for adding the center flowers.)

3. Die cut two large leaves from green cardstock and glue them as shown. Die cut the double flower from medium and dark yellow cardstocks. Glue the large outer medium yellow flower to the front, aligning the petals. Glue a dark yellow inner flower to the center, aligning the petals in the opening. Die cut a 1½" flower from light yellow cardstock and foam tape it to the flower, then die cut a brown cardstock ¾" flower and glue it in the center.

4. Place a sepia Diamond Sparkle on the flower center. Place two brown border Dazzles™ near the lower edge and one near the upper edge as shown, trimming the excess. Place brown “hello” Dazzles™ on the front at the upper right.

5. For the upper inside panel: Die cut two large leaves from green cardstock and glue to the inside as shown. Die cut a medium yellow and a dark yellow double flower. Glue the outer medium yellow flower to the inside, then glue the inner dark yellow flower in the center, aligning the petals both times. Die cut a 1½" light yellow cardstock flower and a ¾" brown flower. Glue both as shown.

6. For the lower inside panel: Cut 4½"x4" Sunflowers tan chicken wire cardstock and mat it on brown cardstock with ⅛" borders. Glue it centered on the panel. Cut 5½"x1" Sunflowers white boards cardstock and mat the long edges on brown cardstock with 1/16" borders. Foam tape it across the panel, ⅞" from the bottom.

7. Place brown “with love” and two small flower Dazzles™ on the boards strip, then place small Diamond Sparkles in the flower centers. Mat the flower crate cutout on brown cardstock with 1/16” borders and glue it above the strip. To display the card, open it and tuck the lower front edge behind the raised sentiment strip.
