Instructions:
1. For the card & front: Cut 10"x6½" Tulips & Butterflies blue spattered cardstock with two tulips in the upper right corner. Fold it in half with the tulips on the inside to make a 5"x6½" card. Open the card and ink the inside edges with Prussian Blue. Score the front, 2½" from the opening edge. Close the card.
2. Place the inside-out die on the score with the largest flower section toward the right card edge, aligning the scoring portion of the die with the score line. (I placed mine with the top flower petal edge 1" from the card’s top edge.) Open the card and die cut the flower. Fold the front back to the left on the score line, allowing the flower to “flip” to the right.
3. Use the double-flower die to cut a dark yellow flower. Ink the edges lightly with Roasted pumpkin, then glue the outer flower to the flipped flower section on the front, aligning the edges. Cut ½"x6½" light blue solid cardstock and ink the edges with Prussian Blue. Glue it to the front panel near the left edge, then place two blue thin line Dazzles™ on it as shown, trimming the excess.
4. Die cut the openwork 2" butterfly from Mirri and the matching solid butterfly from medium blue cardstock, then glue the two together. Glue and foam tape it to the front as shown, then place a light Diamond Sparkle on the body. Foam tape the “hello friend” die-cut as shown.
5. For the inside: Die cut the double flower from light yellow cardstock and two leaves from green cardstock. Ink the leaves with Khaki and the flower lightly with Roasted Pumpkin. Glue the leaves and the open flower to the inside left panel as shown.
6. Place a blue thin line Dazzles™ near the right card edge, trimming the excess. Mat the “happy birthday” cutout on Mirri with 1/16" borders, then glue it as shown. Die cut two leaves from green cardstock and ink both with Khaki. Die cut a 2" flower from red cardstock and ink it with Earth Red. Die cut a 1½" flower from pink cardstock and ink it with Vintage Rose. Die cut a ¾" flower from yellow cardstock and ink it with Roasted Pumpkin.
7. Glue the leaves as shown, then close the card and glue the red flower through the opening in the front. Foam tape the pink flower on the red flower, positioning it so the card still closes. Foam tape the yellow flower on top.
8. Die cut a 2" and a 1½" openwork butterfly from Mirri and the matching solid butterflies from blue cardstocks. Glue the layers together, then glue and foam tape them to the inside as shown. Place light Diamond Sparkles on the butterfly bodies and in the yellow flower center.
