Watercolor Feather Card
Card front: Open a blank card with the fold running vertically, and cut 1½” from the right side. Close your card and place with the fold on your left. Cover the front panel with Unforgettable burgundy paper and glue 3 1/8”x6 1/8” teal flourish paper centered on the panel.
Place the large solid feather stamp on your acrylic block and color the image with the brush tip of the Aquamarine pen. Color the center with Sea Green and Yellow, and the edges with Burgundy. Spritz the stamp lightly with water and stamp onto 2¾”x5¾” white cardstock. Use the fine tip of the Burgundy pen to outline the stamped image and add feathered lines to the center, as shown. Using the Evergreen pen brush tip, flick the end of the brush off the end of a wooden skewer or old pencil, spattering dots across the piece. Repeat with the yellow pen. Let dry. Add detail line work in Burgundy around the outer edge as shown. Use the cosmetic wedge to ink the edges with mint.
Mat the piece on burgundy paper with a 1/16” border and wrap ¼” burgundy sheer ribbon around the base, tying a bow. Glue the piece centered on the front panel and place dark green pearls as shown.
Card inside: Cover the inside panel with light green flourish paper, add detail line work in Burgundy around the outer edge and place “Just Because” Dazzles™ along the right edge and outline the words with the Burgundy fine tip as shown.
