Card front: Place a blank card with the fold on the left and cover with Fancy Feathers pink texture paper. Keeping the feathered border at the bottom left, mat 4½”x6” feather border paper on purple suede with a 1/16” border and set aside.
Stamp the bird postcard onto 5”x4” watercolor paper with black StazOn® ink. Place the paper on the craft sheet and spritz with water. Scribble the purple markers onto your acrylic block (keep the colors separate). Then use the water brush (filled with wate) to pick up color and begin coloring the bird as shown. Repeat with pink and yellow, using the water brush to blend the colors. Finish the entire image, getting each area wet with the water brush before adding color for seamless blending. Let dry, then cut around the outer edge of the stamped postcard image and mat on suede with a 1/8” border.
Foam tape the matted piece over the saved matted feather paper at an angle as shown. Wrap lengths of orange, yellow and pink twine around the bottom and tie in a bow on the left, as shown. Glue the entire piece centered on your card front.
Stamp “Greetings” on 2”x1” watercolor paper, spritz with water and color as shown. Let dry, and then mat on purple suede with a 1/16” border and foam tape ¾” from the top right corner of your card, even with the right side. Place Jewel Dazzles™ on the corners of the papers and painted pieces as shown.
Spritz four wooden birds with water and color directly onto the birds with the markers. Let dry, and then foam tape three birds in place as shown, saving one bird for the inside.
Card inside: Stamp a feather on the left end of 5”x1½” watercolor paper, spritz with water and color as shown. Let dry, and then mat the long edges on Fancy Feathers pink texture paper with 1/8” borders. Wrap lengths of twine around the matted piece, and knot at the base of the feather image. Glue across your card 1” from the top. Place Jewel Dazzles™ on the corners of the border as shown, and foam tape the saved wooden bird over the knot.
