Happy Birthday, Dad
Cut a 4"x5 1/2" piece of green/brown striped border paper. Cut a slit along the striped border with an x-acto knife. Thread brown gingham ribbon through the slit and leave a long tail.
Glue the paper to the front of the surface and trim edges flush to the surface with an x-acto knife. Wrap the rest of the ribbon around the back of the surface. Cover the back of the surface with leave paper and trim the edges. Sand the edges and ink with brown ink pad.
Mat ribbon words with dark green paper and glue to the striped border. Add a green brad to the tag and foam tape overlapping the ribbon.
Inside the card: Cover the insides of the folder with fern paper. Cover the flaps with striped paper. Sand and ink the edges.
Cut a 3/4" strip of green paper. Ink the edges and glue across the flaps. Glue words and art to the flaps. Print journaling on tags. Add brads and glue to flaps.
Secure the flap on the left. Add a gift card to the flap on the right.
