Live Each Day to its Fullest
Trim the card to a 5” square and cover with black cardstock. Glue a 4 7/8” pink dots square centered on the card.
Place the all over swirls stencil on watercolor paper and tape the corners in place. Apply peacock feathers and mustard seed Distress Crayons onto the watercolor paper inside open spaces of the stencil randomly, then smudge the color to fill the spaces. Blot with a damp paper towel. Remove the stencil and continue to blot with the damp paper towel to add a little color to the white areas of the design. When you like the result, let dry. Trim to a 4 1/2" square and mat on black cardstock with thin borders. Glue it centered on the card.
Cut a 3” square of watercolor paper. Place Dazzles™ “LIVE each day…” on the upper left corner. Use the peacock feathers and mustard seed Distress Crayons to add color on your craft sheet. Use a wet 1” flat paintbrush to mix the color for a very light green. Apply a wash of the color over the square of watercolor paper and Dazzles™ words. Use the small paintbrush to add a little more color inside the Dazzles™ “each day”. Let the watercolor paper dry and mat on black with thin borders. Glue on the card, 1/2" from the right side and 1” from the top.
Place the Dazzles™ flowers on watercolor paper and cut them out. Use the Distress Crayons to color the flowers and leaves as follows: mustard seed for the flower centers, picked raspberry for the large blossoms, peacock feathers or mustard seed for small blossoms, and peacock feathers/mustard seed smudged together for the leaves. Use your fingers to smudge the color to fill the spaces, then blot the color with a damp paper towel. Wipe excess color from the black Dazzles™. Foam tape the flowers overlapping on the card near the words as shown. Add Pink Jewel Dazzles as shown. Tie a black bow and Zot™ on the upper left corner as shown.
