Beautiful Butterflies Thank You Card
For the card front: Place the card with the fold on the left. Cut 4¾"x6¼" dark gray cardstock. Cut 5"x7" pink cardstock, place it in the embossing folder, and emboss the design into it. Cut a 4¼"x5¾" embossed strip from the left edge, avoiding the butterfly.
Cut three 1 1/8"x4" strips from the Beautiful Butterflies papers shown. Glue these and the embossed strip side by side across the upper portion of the gray cardstock panel, leaving 1/8" borders on the top and sides. Die cut the floral border from pink cardstock and use Sticky Specks to glue it across the panel, overlapping the bottom of the paper strips. Glue the panel centered on the card front.
Cut 4¾"x1" Beautiful Butterflies aqua mesh paper and wrap a 6" white crepe ribbon across the center, gluing the ends to the back. Glue the strip to the front, covering the top edge of the die cut border. Die cut another pink cardstock border and trim 3/8" from the scalloped edge. Glue this 3/8" strip to the front, just above the aqua paper strip.
Make a 4-loop bow with the crepe ribbon, tie the center with thread, and use double-sided tape to attach the bow to the first ribbon, 1½" from the left card edge. Use tape to attach a 1¾" flower just above the bow. Punch out the Beautiful Butterflies “thank you” tag and foam tape it as shown.
