Beautiful Butterflies Vellum Butterflies Birthday Card
For the card front: Place the card with the fold on the left. Cut 4 7/8"x6 3/8" Beautiful Butterflies aqua/ivory paper and glue it centered on the front. Cut 4¼"x5¾" Beautiful Butterflies gray/aqua roses paper and mat it on cardstock with 1/16" borders.
Position the 2½" and 3" wide butterfly dies on the matted panel as shown and secure both with removable tape. Die cut the two butterflies into the panel, remove the dies and butterflies, then foam tape the panel centered on the card front.
Stamp the matching butterflies onto vellum with VersaMark™ ink. Cover them with embossing powder, tap off the excess, and heat the remainder to melt it. Brush Lagoon ink over the butterflies, then die cut them. Use the bone folder to lightly curl the wings (as you would curl curling ribbon), then attach the butterflies in the openings on the front with double-sided tape.
Cut out the two Beautiful Butterflies sentiments shown and mat each on cardstock with 1/16" borders. Glue “hi gorgeous” to the front in the upper right corner. Punch out a 2¼"x1 3/8" blank aqua label and two aqua roses. Foam tape the label to the front as shown, then glue “sending hugs” to it. Foam tape the roses as shown and place Diamond Sparkles on the butterfly bodies.
